Jimmy Leslie came to prominence in Toledo, Ohio as a member of the band Tomorrow's Clown. He struck out on his own, creating soulful, funky, catchy pop music, before leaving town and striking out for L.A. This recording captures him working with some of the best Toledo musicians of the day, playing originals and old favorites.
