Genepool Lifeguard consisted of Shelly Bryan (vocals), Dave Lichtenberg (guitars/vocals), Pat Sherwood (bass), and Aaron Pearce (drums). This Pacific Northwest band had its feet firmly planted in alternative rock but had a harder-edged, quirky, and somewhat malevolent streak, and they're great at what they do, which was not something you could say about most bands putting their own records out in '95. A real diamond in the rough from a unique band!
