CASSETTE: Randy Sparks "Panda-Monium" (Industrial Printing Company, 1988)
Randy Sparks wrote the song "Saturday Night In Toledo, Ohio," made famous (or infamous if you live here) by John Denver. In 1988, the Industrial Printing Company commissioned Sparks to write a song about the new panda exhibit at the Toledo Zoo, and released it as a cassette tape to distribute to their customers on the occasion of the zoo's 50th anniversary. Sparks recorded the song "Panda-monium," plus his infamous Toledo song and several other tunes, during a concert at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, CA with Burl Ives.
