CASSETTE: "Meet Palani Vaughan and the Sunday Manoa" (Hula Records, 1994)
Originally released in 1967, this album features the rich baritone of Palani Vaughan, whose vocals contrast sharply with the voices of the Cazimero brothers, who joined the band later and were on the more famous "Guava Jam" album. Though it's a different sound, it's a classic piece of Hawaiian music history!
TRACKS: Kaulana Kawaihae, Lei Onaona, Sweet Lei Lehua, Kawohikukapulani, 'Ohi'a Hua Palaku, Lei Loke O Kawika, Sons of Hawaii (King Kalihi)/Kamehameha Home Sweet Home, Hanohano Wale no na Cowboy, Maika'i Waimea, Maika'i Waipi'o, Kalakaua, Ka Makani Ka'ili Aloha.
