What an interesting backstory... the band was formerly known as Penthouse, and the album was called "Gutter Erotica." When they were forced to change their name to Fifty Tons of Black Terror, they also changed the album title to "Demeter," but that didn't make it to this white-label promo cassette, sent out to journalists and music industry people to promote the new band. Musically, they've been favorably compared to Jesus Lizard and The Birthday Party.
